MAD ANTHONY WAYNE CAFE
Make a stop at the Wayne Station and try a taste of our authentic gelato. Enjoy an espresso, coffee drink, Italian soda, refresher or a small bite to eat. Mad Anthony Wayne Café is named after the local Revolutionary War General, Anthony Wayne. General Wayne is famous for his role in the Paoli Massacre and the American victory at the Battle of Stony Point. Mad Anthony Wayne Café is owned and operated by local U.S. Army Veterans with a passion for local history and good coffee
History of the Wayne Station
The Wayne Train Station was constructed from 1882-1884 by the Pennsylvania Railroad and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Its beautiful Victorian building is nestled at the highest point on North Wayne Ave in Wayne, Pa overlooking the center of town.
We want to share this beautiful location with locals and commuters by offering coffee, gelato, and a relaxing and inviting atmosphere inside the café and at our many outdoor covered seating areas.
We Support The Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund
The Paoli Battlefield Preservation Fund is dedicated to protecting, preserving and promoting the historical significance of the Paoli Battlefield through the funding and development of educational programs and conservation activities including historical tours, reenactments, research, publications, lectures/workshops and restoration of the property to its indigenous state.
